Special Requirements

Obtain Thin Prep Kit from Cytology department. Each Specimen container should be labeled with the patient’s name and source of specimen.
Each specimen must be accompanied by a Cytology requisition. Specimens submitted in a fixative or preservative other than the Thin Prep container will be rejected.
If HPV testing is requested it must be indicated on the requisition.
