The Filmarray Gastrointestinal (GI) Panel includes targets for identification of the following 22 pathogens from stool specimens:

BACTERIA

  • Campylobacter (C. jejuni / C. coli / C. upsaliensis)
  • Plesiomonas shigelloides
  • Salmonella
  • Yersinia enterocolitica
  • Vibrio (V. parahaemolyticus / V. vulnificus / V. cholerae)
    • Specific detection of V. cholerae if Vibrio is detected

DIARRHEAGENIC ESCHERICHIA COLI/SHIGELLA

  • Enteroaggregative E. coli (EAEC)
  • Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC)
